Bree was a newborn vampire created by Victoria. Riley told all 20 of the newborns to attack the 'weird yellow-eyed people'. When Victoria and her gang broke havoc among Forks, the Cullens and the Shape-Shifters eventually killed all but Bree, because she was too scared to fight and hid among the trees until Leah Clearwater found her. She surrendered, and Carlisle Cullen gave her the choice to join them if she would not harm them. When Volturi came to the location late, they found Bree, and decided to kill her, as they wouldn't give any second chances.
